In November of 2017, Reid and I were introduced by our mutual friend, Jon Mark, who had asked me to join his Student Government team and brought Reid on board to film our promo videos. What started as group hangouts soon turned into a close friendship as we spent more time together, gradually growing into something more.

For my birthday in June, Reid planned a surprise weekend getaway to the mountains. He created a road trip playlist, packed my favorite snacks for our hike, and even recorded a cover of my favorite song. It was thoughtful and full of moments that showed how much he cared. On the drive back, he asked me to be his girlfriend, turning that day into the start of our love story.

Now, almost seven years later, and in God’s perfect timing, we are engaged and ready to begin the next chapter of our lives together.
